Born and raised in Minnesota, I was like every other kid with dreams of becoming an astronaut or joining the Army. Fast forward a few years, and I found myself scrambling to figure out which classes I was going to take my senior year of high school. A few friends suggested I check out Photography for having a reputation for being an “Easy A,” so I thought to myself “Why not?” I had seen my dad’s box of old photos and camera equipment from before I was born, and wanted to understand his interest in photography. Several rolls of film later, I found myself addicted. I quickly fell in love with capturing moments in time. I have been hooked since.
